What even is Max Piece?
Max Piece is my take on a new way to enjoy the masterpiece that is *One Piece*. It’s kind of a mash-up of *One Pace* and a few other edits (which I’ll definitely credit as I use them). The big difference? Max Piece takes several episodes, cuts out all the mid-credits and extra fluff, and turns them into 1.5 to 2-hour movies. So yeah, it’s basically *One Pace* but reimagined as full-on movies.
Why did you make this?
Honestly, I made this for myself. I’ve always wanted to watch the show—mainly to catch up and finally learn what the One Piece is along with everyone else. But, like a lot of people, I was put off by the insane number of episodes, the confusing season layouts on Netflix and Crunchyroll (seriously, maybe I’m just dumb lol), and the mid-credits interruptions. Plus, having to keep clicking "next episode" every time? It’s not a big deal for most shows, but with something as intense as One Piece, those little breaks totally kill the vibe for me.
Is this going to be in dub or sub?
Alright, I know I’m gonna lose some people here, so brace yourselves—I watched the dubbed version and kept up with the subbed as it came out. Max Piece is all about the English dub (but if anyone wants to team up and work on a sub version, I’m all for it). Look, I get it—some of the voices are better in the sub, but I *hate* subtitles. They totally take me out of the experience. It’s always a debate with my friends, too—they want subtitles on for everything (even English movies) crazy right?
How can I learn more and check out One Pace? Will it ever be made available to the public?
If you’re interested in learning more, you can email me at heymax@duck.com (yes, that’s my real email). I don’t think I’ll ever make it fully public like *One Pace* does—at least not openly available to stream. I’m just a one-person team doing this whenever my current fixation happens to land on it. But if you’re genuinely interested in checking it out and maybe helping spot editing errors (I’m no professional, lol), feel free to reach out!
